How it works
We’ve simplified the process to help you quickly report and retrieve your lost items. Here’s an overview of how it works from start to finish:
Lost & Found: new process
1. Report your lost item
Use the new online tool to describe your lost item, when it went missing, and where you last saw it.
2. Staff cross-check
Our team will match your description with the items received and notify you when your item is found.
3. Pick up your item
Once notified, you can pick up your item at the Lost and Found office, conveniently located on the main floor of St-Laurent Station.
4. Unclaimed items
Items that are not claimed within 21 days will be donated to Heartwood House for their annual unclaimed items sale.
Note
Items turned in to Heartwood House before December 2 will not be moved to the OC Transpo Lost and Found.
Before visiting the Lost and Found Center at St-Laurent Station, please submit your lost item report online through the portal to help us identify your item and assist you faster.
How to report your lost item
Follow these steps to submit your report through the Lost and Found portal and track your item.
To ensure we can assist you effectively, please provide the following details:
- Contact information: Enter your name, phone number, and email address so we can reach you.
- Location: Specify where the item was lost—whether it was on a bus route, at a station, or another location.
- Location details: Provide additional information to help us narrow down the search, such as the bus number, station platform, or any nearby landmarks. The more specific your details, the quicker we can locate your item.
- Choose the category that best matches your lost item from the list of options.
- Lost more than one item? No problem—you’ll be able to add additional items later in the process.
- After selecting the category, click "Next" to move on to the next step where you can provide more details and complete your report.
- Double-check all the information you’ve entered, including contact details and the description of your lost item.
- Ensure everything is accurate before proceeding.
- Once ready, click "Submit."
- You’ll receive a confirmation via both email.
- The confirmation will include your inquiry ID for tracking and further updates.
