Lines 2 and 4 are redefining your commute with fast, convenient connections across Ottawa. Launched on January 6, the extension serves 16 neighbourhoods and features 13 new and upgraded stations.

Enjoy modern, accessible stations with free bike parking, direct airport service, and enhanced neighbourhood connectivity.

Transfer easily at South Keys to reach the airport or continue downtown from Bayview Station on Line 1.

Lines 2 & 4began six-day service (Monday to Saturday) on January 25, which will gradually expand to a full seven-day schedule. To ensure a smooth transition, bus service will continue alongside the two lines.

Bayview – Limebank

About Line 2

Line 2 covers 19 km from Bayview to Limebank, passing through 16 neighbourhoods and reaching about 23,000 residents daily. Key stops include Carleton University, Little Italy, and Mooney's Bay, with a 36-minute ride from downtown to Riverside South.

With eight new stations, and larger trains, Line 2's capacity will see a boost. Passing tracks at South Keys and double-track sections south of Leitrim improve operational flow and efficiency.

Monday to Friday: 6 am — midnight

Saturday: 6:30 am — midnight

Sunday: 7:30 am — 11:30 pm (Service not available yet)

Parallel bus service will continue to run seven days a week.

A parallel bus service will continue to run alongside Line 2 after the launch of Monday-to-Saturday service.
