Weekdays + Saturday

We understand that transitioning to a new service can be challenging, especially when it comes to your commute.

Since the launch of weekday service on January 6, O-Train Lines 2 and 4 have demonstrated safe and consistent performance.

January 25, marks the start of Lines 2& 4six-day service, now running Monday to Saturday.

Starting February 10:

  • B2, the parallel bus service for Line 2, will run less frequently from Monday to Saturday, with service approximately twice an hour throughout the day.
  • On Sundays, B2 will continue to run every 15 minutes
  • This will allow customers the flexibility to continue using the bus while they transition to the new train lines.

Lines 2 4
Phased opening

Lessons learned and insights from the Public Inquiry report have shaped the phased opening of Lines 2 and 4. Organized into three phases, this approach helps customers get familiar with the service while supporting staff training.

The first phase, a five-days-a-week service (Monday to Friday), launched on January 6.

On January 25, service expanded to six-day service (Monday to Saturday).

An update on the next steps of the phased opening will be provided soon.

Here's an overview of the three phases:

Phase 1

Phase 2

Why a phased opening?

A phased opening allows staff to monitor the system closely, identify potential issues, and address them before expanding the service. This approach ensures system safety and reliability. It also ensures an optimal customer experience.

To ensure a smooth transition, bus service will continue alongside the two Lines.

Stay tuned for updates !
