No-charge Sundays and Wednesdays for seniors

Seniors 65+ can ride no charge on OC Transpo buses and the O-Train on Wednesdays and Sundays. 

This offer does not apply to Para Transpo. 

You may be asked for proof of age.

Seniors on the O-Train

Riding the O-Train on a Sunday or Wednesday

If you’re at an O-Train Station, you must use a Presto card set with the senior discount to go through the fare gates. Simply tap your card on the Presto reader to open the gate. No money will be charged to your card at a fare gate on a Sunday or Wednesday.

Buying a Presto card with a Senior discount

You can buy a new card ($4.00) or set the Senior discount on an existing card at:

If you buy your card at one of these locations, you can load it with as little or as much as you want. 

Anyone can buy a Presto card with an age-based discount. You can buy it for yourself or on behalf of an eligible person. You must qualify to use the card with a discounted fare. You also need to carry proof of your age when you ride.

No fee is required to set the Senior discount on a card you have previously bought.
