Here’s what you can expect:

New connections & stations: Expanded service across the south.
Direct access to Ottawa International Airport.
Weekday service:runs from 6 am to midnight, Monday to Friday.
Parallel bus service will continue to run along both lines seven days a week.

New Flyer Zero-emission buses charging by pantograph

A new zero-emission bus is now in service, and more are coming soon!

The first zero-emission bus (ZEB) from our latest order is now in service. Twenty-one more New Flyer XE40 ZEBs will also join our fleet throughout Q1 as they pass inspection and testing.

The new ZEBs come with new white exterior screens. Enhanced interior screens give you more information as you ride. Each ZEB saves about 25,000 litres of fuel every year.

Fare change takes effect January 1

OC Transpo fares are changing on January 1. Most fares will increase by five percent. Fare changes were approved by City Council as part of the 2025 Budget.

There will be no change to the prices of the EquiPass, Community Pass, and Access pass.

Winter service change

Starts Sunday, December 22

As schools and workplaces wind down around the holidays, you can expect our service to adjust to the change in ridership.

There will also be minor changes to bus service this winter in preparation for the weekday launch of O-Train Lines 2& 4.
