Ticket machine locations

Customers have several options for ticket machine locations. All O-Train stations have ticket machines. When entering an O-Train station, ticket machines are located nearby the fare gates and outside of the fare-paid zone. Additionally, ticket machines are now available at each of the seven stations along the Southeast Transitway. The following stations have available ticket machines:

  • 925 Belfast Road
  • Ottawa International Airport (Look for the ticket machine at the south end of the Arrivals terminal)
  • Algonquin College (on the second floor of the Algonquin Centre for Construction Excellence, near the elevators)

Fares from ticket machines

You can pay with cash, debit, or credit. Ticket machines cannot accept $100-bills or Presto e-Purse payments.

Presto services on ticket machines

At a ticket machine, you can only buy a new Presto card and add funds to your Presto card.

Some Presto services are not available at a ticket machine. To use the Presto services listed below, go to prestocard.ca or visit a Customer Service Centre as indicated.

  • Register your Presto card
  • Hotlist (block) your Presto card if it is lost or stolen
  • Transfer your balance to a new card if it is lost or stolen
  • Set up Autoload or Auto Renew
  • Get your Presto usage report for tax purposes

Touch the "We're here to help" button on the screen to launch video chat. Video-chat help lets you speak with an OC Transpo Customer Service Representative. The representative can help:

  • Guide you through your fare purchase
  • Get you through the fare gates if you have valid fare that isn’t machine-readable
  • Answer all your fare-related questions

Using audio support to access video-chat

Plug your headphones into the audio jack. You will find the jack below the bottom left corner of the touch screen. The jack is labelled "AUDIO" in raised text and Braille.

Follow the audio prompts. Use the payment PIN pad to control the ticket machine. You will find the PIN pad indented into the far right of the machine.
