Map interface guide

Learn how to do the following actions on the map:

  • Zoom

    You can zoom in on the map by clicking the appropriate icon (“+” to zoom in and “-“ to zoom out) located on the bottom right corner of the window

  • Move the map

    To display a different area on the map:

    1. Hold down the left click on your mouse until the cursor hand makes a fist.
    2. Drag the mouse to desired location (upward to scroll south, to the right to scroll west, downward to scroll north or left to scroll east.)

  • Google Street View

    Check out your stop with Google Street View Zoom into the nearest intersection. Click on the yellow person icon and while holding down the mouse, drag the icon the desired point (must be on a public roadway).

  • Expand map to full screen

    For easier navigation, you can expand the map to take up your entire screen by clicking the red icon with two arrows. To return to the Travel planner interface, click the icon again.

  • Aerial view

    You can view an area’s satellite images by clicking the “Satellite” button. This will only change the presentation and not the functionality of the map.
