As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Highway 417 between Woodroffe Avenue and Greenbank Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, crews and equipment will be working during the daytime and overnight in the LRT guideway (former Transitway trench) between the temporary Transitway bridge and Tunney’s Pasture Station. Work will also be carried out along the Kichi Zìbì Mikan (KZM) west of Churchill Avenue.
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, crews and equipment will be working overnight along the LRT guideway alignment (former Transitway trench) between Queensway Transitway Station/Highway 417 to Algonquin Station. Below is an overview of activities upcoming for the winter months of 2025. Please note that construction crews will be on holiday break from December 21 to January 5, inclusively. Construction operations during this time will be limited to winter maintenance and maintenance of temporary equipment including pumps.
