It was a busy Transit Commission meeting for us on November 14. We presented OC Transpo’s 2024 draft budget, and provided an update on our bus route review and ridership numbers.

It was another busy Transit Commission for us on October 12. We provided updates on severe weather incidents, wheel bearing issues that caused recent O-Train service disruptions, ridership levels and a lot more!

A new pedestrian bridge was installed on July 31st, 2023, across the Highway 417. The bridge is designed to enhance neighbourhood connectivity and offer you direct access to Queensview Station.

As we extend lines and build new stations, we're minimizing noise and disturbances with strict measures. We use noise and vibration monitors, limit nighttime work, and control dust.

With the O-Train Extension project on the horizon, Ottawa is taking proactive measures and gearing up to accommodate its projected population growth of 1.14 million people by 2031. The O-Train Extension Project will add an impressive 44 kilometres of rail and 24 new stations, bringing rail transit within 5 kilometres of 77% of residents. An impressive feat that's sure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 155,000 tonnes over 25 years and make daily commutes a breeze.
We have retired our OC Transpo app for iOS and partnered with Transit to provide Ottawa users with free access to the Royale subscription.
You will be able to access the subscription's additional features immediately, as long as you have the latest version of the app.
OC Transpo is committed to delivering the best possible service to customers. The bus route review was launched in January 2023 as part of OC Transpo’s five-year roadmap. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been significant changes to how often and how many customers use transit.
