Your Future Journey: Plan your future trip with the New Ways to Bus Travel Planner
What will my bus trip be like in the future?
Although it’s not quite a magic mirror, you can now preview your trip on the future bus network using the New Ways to Bus Travel Planner at octranspo.com/NewWaysToBus.
This Travel Planner preview uses typical weekday and weekend schedules for new bus routes and O-Train Lines 1, 2 and 4 to provide customized travel plans for your future trips in the new network.
Similar to the current Travel Planner, you can plan your trip, browse route or O-Train line schedules, and look up your stop’s schedule.
Follow the simple steps below to learn how you can preview future trips in the new network.
Plan your trip
- Navigate to the New Ways to Bus Travel Planner
- Choose between typical Weekday, Saturday, or Sunday schedules
- Enter an origin and destination for your trip and choose a departure or arrival time:
- Click the green “Plan your trip” button:
- Several different travel plans will be listed at the top of the screen. The quickest trip will usually be highlighted in yellow:
Important things to remember
The schedules you see on the New Ways to Bus Travel Planner are close to those that will be in place when the New Ways to Bus network launches, but they may change slightly before the new network goes into effect.
For now, the New Ways to Bus Travel Planner provides the most up-to-date information on the new network. Updates will continue to be made.
As we continue to improve the New Ways to Bus Travel Planner, more information on Event Routes in the 400s and 450s, and 600-series School Routes will be provided. Shopper Routes 300 to 305 will not change. STO routes included in trip plans are also based on STO’s current service and are not indicative of future service.
