Trim Road South of Highway 174 - Overnight Closure

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling northbound on Trim Road at Highway 174 and westbound on Highway 174 at Trim Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:          
Full closure of Trim Road between S Frontage Street and Highway 174.

When:         
Wednesday, October 23 at 10:00 p.m. until Thursday, October 24 at 5:30 a.m.

Why:           
Overhead sign installation.

Where:        
Trim Road between S Frontage Street and Highway 174.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detours
Motorists travelling eastbound or westbound on the Highway will be able to turn onto Trim Road north of the Highway.

Motorists travelling westbound on the Highway looking to travel to Trim Road on the south side of the Highway will need to continue westbound on the Highway to Tenth Line Road. They will exit the Highway and take Tenth Line Road south to St. Joseph Boulevard. They will then travel east to Trim Road.

Motorists south of the Highway looking to travel to Trim Road on the north side of the Highway will need to take St. Joseph Boulevard to Tenth Line Road where they can cross over the Highway. They will then take Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard to Trim Road.

Anticipated Impacts
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place to ensure safety.
