As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, a weekend lane reduction will be required on Richmond Road at McEwen Avenue. A single lane of alternating traffic (SLAT) will be implemented to maintain eastbound and westbound traffic on Richmond Road. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic. Motorists should expect delays when travelling through this area. 
What:     
Lane reduction on Richmond Road at McEwen Avenue.
When:    
Friday, September 27 at 6:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Monday, September 30.
Why:
Excavation, materials removal, backfilling, grading, utilities connection work, removal of temporary concrete barriers and reinstatement.
Where:   
Richmond Road at McEwen Avenue.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
