Oct 30 to Nov 1: Highway 174 Westbound: Night Lane Reductions, Trim Rd. to Champlain St. & Full Closure at Place d’Orléans
October 2023As part of the O-Train Extension project, motorists travelling westbound on Highway 174 between Trim Road and Champlain Street should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
A lane reduction will be in place on Highway 174 westbound from Trim Road to Champlain Street. There will also be a full closure of Highway 174 westbound at Champlain Street and a detour will be in place.
When:
Monday, October 30 to Wednesday, November 1 nightly between 7:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
Why:
Traffic control barrier removal.
Where:
Highway 174 westbound from Trim Road to Champlain Street.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Detour
Motorists will take the Champlain Street exit and cross over to the Highway 174 westbound Champlain Street on-ramp to reconnect to the highway.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
