October 27: Transitway closure from Iris Street to Carling Ave
October 2023As part of the O-Train Extension project the Transitway between Iris Street and Carling Avenue will be fully closed for weekend and overnight work on multiple weekends October and November.
What:
Full closure of the Transitway between Iris Street and Carling Avenue for weekend and overnight work.
When:
- Friday, October 27 at 9:00 pm to Monday, October 30 at 5:00 am
- Friday, November 3 at 9:00 pm to Monday, November 6 at 5:00 am
Why:
Transitway lane and shoulder widening and catch basin repair work.
Where:
Transitway between Iris Street and Carling Avenue.
Anticipated Impacts
Noise and vibration from trucks and heavy equipment is expected.
Site lighting for overnight work will be required and crews will place and/or direct the light to mitigate impact on residents.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
