November 29 - Highway 174 Eastbound at Trim Road - Overnight Full Closure
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 at Trim Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Highway 174 eastbound at Trim Road will be fully closed overnight.
When:
Wednesday, November 29 from 10:00 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 30.
Why:
Guardrail repairs.
Where:
Highway 174 eastbound at Trim Road.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Detour
Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will exit at Trim Road, travel south to Old Montreal Road, and continue east on Old Montreal Road to Quigley Hill Road. They will then proceed north on Quigley Hill Road to Highway 174.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
