As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Highway 417 between Woodroffe Avenue and Greenbank Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:     

Overnight lane reductions on Highway 417 westbound and eastbound between Woodroffe Avenue and Greenbank Road as well as an overnight closure of the Highway 417 eastbound on-ramps from northbound and southbound Greenbank Road.

When:    

Highway 417 eastbound lane reduction and on-ramp closures from Greenbank Road: Monday, January 20th from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Highway 417 eastbound lane reduction: Tuesday, January 21 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Highway 417 westbound lane reduction: Wednesday, January 22 and Thursday, January 23 from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Why:      

Roofing and flashing installation for the Queensview Station pedestrian bridge.

Where:  

Highway 417 between Woodroffe Avenue and Greenbank Road.

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.

The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
