As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling westbound on Highway 417 between Holly Acres Road and Moodie Drive should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:     

Overnight closure of the westbound Highway 417 on-ramp from Holly Acres Road, and a lane reduction on westbound Highway 417 between Holly Acres Road and Moodie Drive.

When:    

Monday, October 28 to Thursday, October 31 from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. nightly.

Why:      

Ballast works and backfilling.

Where:   

Highway 417 from Holly Acres Road to Moodie Drive.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
