As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Montreal Road eastbound at the Highway 174 interchange should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:     
Full closure of eastbound Montreal Road at the Highway 174 interchange.

When:    
Monday, October 21 through Sunday, October 27 from 12:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night.

Why:      
Concrete dry finishing and bridge work.

Where:   
Montreal Road eastbound at the Highway 174 interchange.  

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour
Motorists looking to access Montreal Road / St. Joseph Boulevard east of the closure will need to take Blair Road south to Innes Road. They will travel on Innes Road to Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, where they will turn left to travel north. They will then turn left on St. Joseph Boulevard.

Alternatively, motorists can take the Aviation Parkway to the Sir George Etienne Cartier Parkway to access St. Joseph Boulevard east of the closure.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
