Montreal Road at Highway 174 - Ramp Closure - Nov. 1-4
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling eastbound on Montreal Road looking to take westbound Highway 174 should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Full closure of the Highway 174 westbound on-ramp from eastbound Montreal Road.
When:
Friday, November 1 at 7:00 p.m. to Monday, November 4 at 5:00 a.m.
Why:
Electrical work on the on-ramp.
Where:
Highway 174 westbound on-ramp from eastbound Montreal Road.
Motorists can access westbound Highway 174 at the Blair Road and Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard interchanges.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place to ensure safety.
