May to June 2024 - Montreal Road at Highway 174 - Lane Reduction

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Montreal Road southbound between the Highway 174 interchange and Bearbrook Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:          
Montreal Road southbound between Highway 174 interchange and Bearbrook Road will have a short single-lane reduction.

When:         
This lane reduction is anticipated to be in place until the end of June.

Why:           
Construction of the permanent corner of Montreal Road and the Highway 174 off-ramp.

Where:          
Montreal Road southbound between Highway 174 interchange and Bearbrook Road

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
