May 31 to June 3 - Highway 174 Eastbound from Montreal Road to Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier Parkway - Weekend Full Closure

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Highway 174 eastbound at Montreal Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:          
Full closure of Highway 174 eastbound from Montreal Road to Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier Parkway. The eastbound on-ramp from eastbound Montreal Road and the eastbound on-ramp from westbound Montreal Road will also be closed.

When:         
Friday, May 31 at 7:00 p.m. to Monday, June 3 at 5:30 a.m.

Why:           
Bridge and drainage work.

Where:        
Highway 174 eastbound from Montreal Road to Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier Parkway.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour
Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will need to exit at Montreal Road and turn right to drive eastbound on St. Joseph Boulevard. They will then use the roundabout at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard and travel north to reconnect to Highway 174 eastbound.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
