June 23 to August 3 - Place d’Orléans Drive at Highway 174 - On-Ramp Closure
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Place d’Orléans Drive should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Full closure of the Place d’Orléans Drive on-ramp to Highway 174 eastbound. Highway 174 eastbound can be accessed using the on-ramp from St. Joseph Boulevard just east of Tenth Line Road.
When:
Sunday, June 23 at 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3.
Why:
Surface removals, intersection signal removal, installation of new traffic signal infrastructure, streetlight pole relocation, flatwork installation, grading, paving and landscaping.
Where:
Place d’Orléans Drive on-ramp at Highway 174 eastbound.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
