July 24 and 25 - Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard at Highway 174 - Overnight Closures

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard at Highway 174 should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:          
Overnight
full closure of Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard at Highway 174. The eastbound Highway 174 on-ramp from southbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard and the westbound Highway 174 on-ramp from northbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard are also closed.

When:         
Wednesday, July 24 and Thursday, July 25 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night.

Why:           
Construction work on the bridge.

Where:        
eanne d’Arc Boulevard at the Highway 174 interchange.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detours
To access Highway 174 eastbound from Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard on the north side of the Highway, motorists will travel east on Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard to Tenth Line Road, turn right to travel south on Tenth Line Road, turn left onto St. Joseph Boulevard and travel to Trim Road to take the eastbound on-ramp.

To access Highway 174 westbound from northbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, motorists will travel to the roundabout on St. Joseph Boulevard and drive west on St. Joseph Boulevard to the westbound on-ramp at the Montreal Road interchange.

Local traffic will use d’Orléans Boulevard to access both sides of Highway 174.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place to ensure safety.
