19 - 22 July: Notice of Weekend lane reduction: Woodroffe Avenue
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, a weekend lane reduction will be in place on Woodroffe Avenue between David Drive and College Avenue for two consecutive weekends. Access to Parkglen Drive from Woodroffe Avenue will also be closed.
What:
The northbound lanes of Woodroffe Avenue between David Drive and College Avenue will be closed, and traffic will be diverted to the southbound lanes. A single lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Access to Parkglen Drive from Woodroffe Avenue will be fully closed. The suggested route for residents wishing to access or egress from Parkglen Drive and the adjoining streets is via David Drive.
When:
Friday, July 19 at 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22.

Anticipated Impacts
Residents living along Woodroffe Avenue between David Drive and College Avenue may experience noise from vehicles and equipment working in the area.
Site lighting for overnight work will be required and crews will place and/or direct the light to mitigate impact on residents.
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
