January 22 - Montreal Road at Highway 174 - Lane Reductions and Ramp Closures for Snow Clearing
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Montreal Road as well as residents whose homes are near Montreal Road and Highway 174, should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Overnight closure of both the eastbound and westbound on-ramps to Highway 174 at the Montreal Road interchange. These closures also include short lane reductions.
When:
Monday, January 22 at 9:00 p.m. to Tuesday, January 23 at 7:30 a.m.
Why:
Snow removal.
Where:
Montreal Road at the Highway 174 interchange.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
