Hwy 174 Westbound - Overnight Full Closure - Montreal to Blair
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling westbound on Highway 174 should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Full closure of westbound Highway 174 overnight.
When:
Friday, February 14 at 11:00 p.m. until Saturday, February 15 at 3:00 a.m.
Why:
Snow removal.
Where:
Highway 174 westbound from Montreal Road to Blair Road.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Anticipated Impacts
- Motorists will exit westbound Highway 174 at Montreal Road and take Montreal Road to Ogilvie Road. They will then take Ogilvie Road to Blair Road, where they can rejoin westbound Highway 174.
- Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
