As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 eastbound between Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard and Place d’Orléans Drive should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:          
Full closure of Highway 174 eastbound between Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard and Place d’Orléans Drive. Eastbound Highway 174 on-ramps at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard will also be closed.

When:         
Sunday, November 17 at 9:30 p.m. until Monday, November 18 at 5:30 a.m. and Wednesday, November 20 at 9:30 p.m. until Thursday, November 21 at 5:30 a.m.  

Why:         
Overhead sign installation.

Where:        
Highway 174 eastbound from Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard to Place d’Orléans Drive.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour
Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will exit at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, continue south on Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard to the roundabout at St. Joseph Boulevard, then proceed east on St. Joseph Boulevard to Place d’Orléans Drive. They will then travel northbound on Place d’Orléans Drive and re-enter Highway 174 using the Highway 174 eastbound Place d’Orléans Drive on-ramp.

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
