Hwy 174 Eastbound - Overnight Full Closure - Mar. 6

This closure was rescheduled from the night of March 4 to the night of March 6 due to the weather.
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 eastbound should anticipate mobility impacts.
What:
Highway 174 eastbound will be closed overnight between Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard and Champlain Street while crews work on the Highway under the Orléans Boulevard overpass.
When:
Thursday, March 6 at 10:00 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. the following day
Why:
Installing conduit on Orléans Boulevard Bridge.
Where:
Highway 174 eastbound from Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard to Champlain Street.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Detour
Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will exit at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, turn right to travel south on Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, turn left to travel east on St. Joseph Boulevard, turn left on Place d’Orléans Drive on the east side of the mall and then re-enter Highway 174 using the Place d’ Orléans Drive on-ramp to eastbound Highway 174.
Alternatively, motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 can exit at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard and turn left to travel north over Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard Bridge. They will then follow Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard eastbound to Champlain Street, where they can travel south to take the Champlain Street on-ramp to eastbound Highway 174.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
