As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 westbound at Champlain Street should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:          
Highway 174 westbound at Champlain Street will be fully closed. The off-ramp from Highway 174 westbound to Champlain Street remains open.

When:         
Monday, October 7 at 9:00 p.m. until Tuesday, October 8 at 5:30 a.m.  

Why:           
Bridge work.

Where:          
Highway 174 westbound at Champlain Street.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour
Motorists travellingwestbound on Highway 174 will exit at Champlain Street and cross the road to reconnect to the Highway using the westbound Highway 174 on-ramp.

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
