Highway 174 Eastbound -Tenth Line to Trim - Overnight Full Closure - October 21
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 eastbound between Tenth Line Road and Trim Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Full closure of Highway 174 eastbound from Tenth Line Road to Trim Road. The Highway 174 eastbound on-ramp from St. Joseph Boulevard will also be closed.
When:
Monday, October 21 at 9:00 p.m. to Tuesday, October 22 at 5:30 a.m.
Why:
Overhead sign installation.
Where:
Highway 174 eastbound between Tenth Line Road and Trim Road.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Detour
Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will exit at Tenth Line Road and continue south to St. Joseph Boulevard. They will then turn left and travel east on St. Joseph Boulevard to the traffic circle where they will use Trim Road to re-enter Highway 174 eastbound using the on-ramp.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
