Highway 174 Eastbound between Place d’Orléans and Tenth Line Road - Nightly Full Closure
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 eastbound from Place d’Orléans to Tenth Line Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
A nightly full closure will be in place on eastbound Highway 174 between Place d’Orléans and Tenth Line Road.
When:
Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10 between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. each night.
Why:
Signage installation.
Where:
Highway 174 eastbound between Place d’Orléans and Tenth Line Road.
Detour
Motorists will exit Highway 174 eastbound at Place d’Orléans and travel around the mall to St. Joseph Boulevard. They will then turn left and travel on St. Joseph Boulevard and rejoin Highway 174 eastbound using the on-ramp east of Tenth Line Road.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
