Highway 174 Eastbound at Place d’Orléans - Overnight Closure - March 18
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Highway 174 eastbound at the Place d’Orléans interchange should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Highway 174 eastbound at Place d’Orléans will be fully closed
When:
Tuesday, March 18 at 9:00 p.m. until Wednesday, March 19 at 5:30 a.m.
Why:
Painting the outside of the pedestrian bridge.
Where:
Highway 174 eastbound at Place d’Orléans.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Detour
Motorists will perform a simple ramp surf at Place d’Orléans. They will exit the Highway using the eastbound off-ramp, drive east on Place d’Orléans Drive, and rejoin eastbound Highway 174 using the eastbound on-ramp.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
