Eastbound Highway 174 at Montreal Road - Overnight Full Closure
This work, previously scheduled for the nights of September 25 and 26, has been rescheduled due to expected weather conditions.
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Highway 174 eastbound at Montreal Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Full closure of Highway 174 eastbound at Montreal Road.
When:
Monday, September 30 and Tuesday, October 1 between 10:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. each night.
Why:
Bridge work.
Where:
Highway 174 eastbound at Montreal Road.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Detour
Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will need to exit at Montreal Road, cross Montreal Road at the intersection, and using the bus rapid transit lane (temporary access) take the Highway 174 eastbound on-ramp to reconnect to Highway 174 eastbound.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
