December 16-17 Notice of Overnight Ramp Closure: Highway 417 at Richmond Road
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling southbound on Richmond Road at Highway 417 should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
The Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from southbound Richmond Road will be fully closed to traffic overnight.
When:
Monday, December 16 and Tuesday, December 17 nightly from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
Why:
Security fence installation at Bayshore Station.
Where:
Highway 417 at Richmond Road.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
