April 8 to May 31 - Highway 174 Eastbound at Trim Road - Left Turn Lane Closure

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 eastbound at Trim Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:          
The left turn lane on eastbound Highway 174 at Trim Road will be closed.

When:         
Monday, April 8 at 6:00 a.m. until Friday, May 31 at 5:00 p.m.

Why:           
Grading, flatworks, manhole adjustments, closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection, and line painting.

Where:          
Highway 174 eastbound at Trim Road.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour
Motorists travelling on Highway 174 eastbound wanting to turn left onto Trim Road from the highway will need to exit at Trim Road, travel south to the first traffic circle, and continue travelling on Trim Road northbound to arrive at the Highway 174/Trim Road interchange.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
