April 29-July 5: Lester Road Lane Reduction and Flagging
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train South Extension Project, a flagging operation is required on Lester Road.
WHAT:
Crews will be installing guard rails and traffic electrical signals for a future Multi-Use Pathway crossing. To perform this work, the lanes on Lester Road will be reduced to one lane in both east and west directions. To ensure traffic flows in both directions, flaggers will be present.
WHEN:
This work is scheduled to start on April 29th and is expected to last until July 5th. The work is scheduled to happen daily from 7:00AM to 5:00PM. This schedule is subject to change.
WHY:
Crews need to work near both sides of the road. The lane reduction will allow this work to take place safely while still allowing traffic to flow in both directions.
WHERE:
Please see the map below for the location of the work on Lester Road just west of Albion Road South.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution when localized detours are in place and adhere to all posted signage when travelling to ensure safety, as patterns may have changed.
