  • Presto card set with the senior discount
    You may be asked for proof of age when you use a card with this discount.
  • No-charge service on Wednesdays and Sundays* on all routes (except Para Transpo).
  • Discounted monthly pass ($49.00)
  • Lower cash ($2.95 per ride) and Presto e-Purse ($2.90 per ride) fares

Seniors 65+ can ride no charge on OC Transpo buses and the O-Train on Wednesdays and Sundays. If you’re using a fare gate, you must use a Presto card set with the senior discount.

Students at U-Pass institutions

  • Algonquin College
  • Carleton University
  • Saint Paul University

  • uOttawa

Varies by institutions:
  • U-Pass (cost included in your student fees) lets you ride all OC Transpo and STO routes during your full-time school terms:
    • From Sept. 1 to April 30, for the regular school year
    • From May 1 to Aug. 31 for spring/summer

Youth 13–19

Be between the ages of 13 and 19 and

Live in Ontario
  • Anyone can buy a Presto card with an age-based discount. You can buy it for yourself or on behalf of an eligible person. You must meet eligibility criteria to use the card with a discounted fare. You also need to prove eligibility if requested.
  • Reduced-fare monthly Youth Pass ($99.25 per month)
  • Some students receive a school board Presto card for free; check with your school before buying a pass!

Persons receiving ODSP benefits

  • Receive benefits under the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
  • ODSP number (9-digit identification number found on an ODSP document) and a Presto card number OR Para Transpo ID number
  • Discounted monthly Community pass ($43.25) or per-ride fare ($1.75) that let you ride on all routes, including Para Transpo, without a top-up
  • Rural fare not included

  • Para Transpo registration number
  • Discounted monthly Access pass. This pass lets you ride unlimited on the O-Train and all non Para Transpo buses and lets you save one-third of the cash-fare price (per ride) on your Para Transpo trips and ride for only $43.25.
