How can I connect to the Line 2 trains at Bayview Station?
At Bayview, you can transfer to Line 2 from either Platform 1 or Platform 2, both located on the first level of the station. Audio and visual announcements, along with clear signage, will guide you to the correct platform for your next train.

When will O-Train Line 2 and Line 4 open for service?
The opening of Lines 2 and 4 is approaching, with the final steps now underway. The trial running phase has been completed, and OC Transpo, alongside TransitNext, is focused on securing final regulatory approvals and completing essential readiness tasks to prepare for customer service.
Currently, OC Transpo is finalizing staff training, readiness activities, and regulatory approvals. An announcement of the opening date will be provided in the coming weeks.
How do doors work on trains?
The doors on all trains will open and close at each stop, so customers don’t need to push buttons or touch the doors to get on or off. For your safety, please do not hold the doors open.
What are the payment options for Lines 2 & 4?
Paying for your ride on Lines 2 & 4 is simple and the same as paying for your ride on buses or Line 1:
- Use a Presto card, barcoded transfer from the bus, or pay with cash, credit, or debit at station ticket machines.
- Tap to access fare gates using a credit card, debit card, or mobile wallet via O-Payment.
- Transfer for free when you switch from another line or bus—just tap the same card.
- You can reload your Presto card or video chat with a customer service representative at ticket machines if needed.
Are the trains on Lines 2 and 4 accessible?
Yes, the trains are low-floor, feature level boarding with the platform, and include plenty of accessible seating. All new stations have two elevators, and they provide tactile wayfinding, audio announcements, and access to multi-use pathways.
When will the Line 2 and Line 4 Travel Planner be available?
The Travel Planner for O-Train Line 2 and Line 4 will be available once the launch date is announced, making it easy to plan your trips.

Lines 2 and 4 introduce 8 new stations along 16 kilometres of track. Each station is designed for modern convenience, featuring heated Transecure shelters, elevators, real-time information screens, and ample seating to enhance your travel experience.
Line 4 includes a fully enclosed Airport station located at the Departures level of Ottawa International Airport for easy access and comfort.
Can I bring my bike on Lines 2 & 4?
Yes, Lines 2 and 4 are bike-friendly. You can take your bicycle on the trains. Multi-use pathways are available at most stations, and runnels along stairwells make it easy to move your bike between levels.
How do Lines 2 and 4 fit in with the rest of the O-Train system?
Line 2 connects with Line 1 at Bayview Station, providing seamless transfers to downtown Ottawa and beyond. It also connects with Line 4 at South Keys Station for easy access to the airport.
