Detour: McEwen Avenue closure

On Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 8 am until Friday, January 31, 2025 at 6 pm, Route 153 will be detoured due to the closure of the north segment of McEwen due to hydro work as a part of the Ottawa West Flow Pump Station Upgrades Project.
Shuttle service
To assist displaced customers, an accessible minivan (Dodge Caravan) will loop through the work zone approximately every 15 minutes and service impacted stops. The shuttle will connect to alternative conventional stops at McEwen and Ambleside, and Richmond and Assaly, where users can board detoured trips on Route 153 and continue regular route.
