On May 2, the price of a DayPass purchased on the bus dropped from $7.25 to $7. Additionally, families can now travel with a DayPass on Saturdays, in addition to Sundays and statutory holidays, which makes transit more affordable on weekends. One $7 DayPass provides unlimited same-day travel on all Regular and Express routes. Please note that DayPass vouchers are no longer sold at vendors. However, if you have a pre-purchased DayPass voucher, it will be accepted on the bus.

Don’t forget that transit is free on Wednesdays for seniors 65 and older. Many agencies and stores offer specials to seniors on Wednesdays to coincide with the free service.

Use up your old tickets before they expire or exchange them at an OC Transpo Sales Centre for their face value toward the purchase of new yellow tickets or a pass. Remember, when you pay your fare with a combination of tickets and cash, tickets are only worth their face value. |

Starting
July 1, 2009, orange 95¢ tickets and green $1 tickets will expire and no
longer be accepted on the bus.
