Transit Pass Payroll Deduction Program

The ECOPASS is a transit pass derived through a payroll deduction program.  This pass offers you up to a 15% savings yearly in comparison with using a monthly pass. The University of Ottawa was the first company to “get on board” with the ECOPASS program. Since then, we’ve gone on to include people in the fields of high technology, banking, government and hospitality.

We offer 3 types of ECOPASS: 

• ECOPASS       (Regular Routes)
• ECOPASS +    (Express/Reg. Routes)
• ECOPASS R+  (Rural Routes)

With an ECOPASS, you can relax. You’ll receive a one piece photo ID pass valid for as long as you continue payroll deductions. No more last minute trips to the store on the 30^th to buy a new monthly pass, or finding you’re all out of tickets. Travel as often and whenever you want - the ECOPASS is hassle-free.

Economical 
The ECOPASS is the most economical way to take transit. The cost is spread evenly throughout the year. As a valued customer, you’ll save up to 15% more than if you purchased monthly passes.

    
Environmental
There’s no doubt that finding ways of getting to work other than the single occupant vehicle will help reduce traffic congestion and pollution. One bus replaces up to 50 cars - that’s 49 fewer exhaust pipes on the roads in our community!

Secure
Your photo appears on the ECOPASS, so it’s uniquely yours.  The serial number makes it easy to trace if it’s lost or stolen.
