The  DayPass
effective May 2009

A DayPass offers unlimited travel all day and is a great low-cost way for tourists, residents and families to see the city, go shopping, visit museums or attend festivals.

DayPassThe OC Transpo Family DayPass is valid on Saturdays, in addition to Sundays and holidays.

The price of the DayPass has been reduced from $7.25 to $7, seven days a week.

DayPasses are no longer available at vendors, but if you have a pre-purchased red DayPass voucher, it will still be accepted on the bus.

The DayPass

It’s an economical way to travel and offers another convenient fare choice:

  • Valid all day on the date printed on the DayPass.

  • Valid as full fare on regular and express routes.

  • On rural express routes, a top-up of $1.00 or 1 ticket is required.

  • A DayPass is valid for one person Monday through Friday

  • A DayPass is valid for families on weekends and statutory holidays. (A family can include up to six people, with a maximum of two who are 12 or older.)

Statutory holidays include New Year's Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Ontario Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Boxing Day.

* For the O-Train, you can use the printed DayPass as fare.


 


Where to buy the DayPass

Purchase a DayPass from the operator when you board the bus ($7.00 - exact change required).
